2012 Street Medic Training A Success!

Our first Street Medic training, which took place on August 10-12, 2012, was a great success! Our sincere thanks go out to the members of the Rosehip Medic Collective who traveled all the way to Boston from Portland to be our lead trainers, and to Haze, our local trainer; to the incredible generosity and support of the GA of Occupy Boston, which made it possible to bring the Rosehips here for this training; to our wonderful volunteer practice patients who made our training scenarios rock; to the awesome folks at Boston Food Not Bombs for feeding us over the weekend; to our amazing trainees for their support, energy, effort, and attention; and to all the members of our organizing team who put in many hours and donated money and time to make this training happen. None of this could happen without the hard work and dedication of many people, and we are grateful for the support we received. Thank you all!

Please join us in congratulating our new street medics! We’ll see you on the streets soon!
